MARY VARKEY, MD, JOINS KEYSTONE FAMILY PRACTICE
(Chambersburg, PA) -- Keystone Health Center, a public, non-profit health care network in Chambersburg, PA, announces the appointment of Mary Varkey, M.D., to the staff of Keystone Family Practice.
Dr. Varkey completed her residency in the Forbes Regional Hospital Family Practice Residency program near Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees and completed an Internship at the University of Kerala, Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India. Dr. Varkey is board eligible for certification by the American Board of Family Practice.
Prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Varkey worked at the Fellowship Mission Hospital and the G.K. Hospital in Kerala, India.
Dr. Varkey is accepting new patients at Keystone Family Practice, which is located at 820 Fifth Avenue in Chambersburg. As with all of Keystone Health Center’s practices, Keystone Family Practice’s services are available to anyone in the community, regardless of ability to pay.
Keystone Health Center, a public, non-profit organization, provides high-quality family medical, obstetric, gynecological, pediatric, cardiac, behavioral, and dental health care and, when needed, social services to underserved and vulnerable populations as well as the entire community. Keystone Health Center operates four primary care sites—Keystone Family Practice, Keystone Dental Care, Keystone Women's Care, and Franklin County Pediatrics—and one specialty practice, the Franklin County Heart Center. Keystone also operates one year-round migrant and seasonal farmworker site in Berks County and one seasonal farmworker site in Adams County. Services are also provided through outreach workers and contracted providers across the Commonwealth.
