KEYSTONE HEALTH CENTER APPOINTS NEW HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR

(Chambersburg, PA) - Keystone Health Center announces the appointment of Janis Williamson to human resource director. As director, Ms. Williamson is responsible for staffing, employee relations, employment assessment, compensation and benefits administration, and policy development and implementation.

"We are extremely pleased to have Janis join our team," said Joanne Cochran, President and CEO of Keystone Health Center. "She has the knowledge and experience needed to insure we understand the changing and complex employment environment and that we develop our staff's capability to meet our patient and business needs."

Prior to joining Keystone Health Center, Ms. Williamson was the vice president of human resources at enews.com where she had hands-on experience in employee relations. With more than ten years experience as a human resources generalist, Ms. Williamson has previously worked in several small and medium-sized companies, including seven years as the director of human resources at a subsidiary of The Washington Post Company.

Having worked a majority of her life in the Northern Virginia area, Ms. Williamson says she feels very fortunate to be a part of the Keystone team.

"I feel very satisfied both personally and professionally to be living in such a quaint area while working for such a great organization with an even better mission."

A Sharpsburg, Maryland resident, Ms. Williamson holds a M.A. from American University in Personnel and Human Resources Management.

Keystone Health Center, a public, non-profit organization, provides high-quality medical, obstetric, gynecological, pediatric, dental health care and, when needed, social services to all Franklin County residents and the surrounding areas, including the underserved populations. Presently, Keystone operates six primary care sites: Keystone Family Practice, Keystone Dental Center, Keystone Women's Care, Franklin County Pediatrics, Keystone Health Center-Path Valley satellite family practice, and the State Migrant Farmworker Administration office. Keystone also operates one year-round migrant and seasonal farmworker site in Berks County and one seasonal farmworker site in Adams County. Services to migrant farmworkers are also provided through outreach workers and contracted providers across the Commonwealth.
