 that Robert F. Pellegrino, Jr., PA‑C, and Katherine E. Cornwell, MPAS, PA-C, have joined its cardiology practice, Franklin County Heart Center.

 

Mr. Pellegrino completed the physician assistant program, with a concentration in sports and emergency medicine, at Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, in 1983. He completed an EMS paramedic training program at St. Luke’s Hospital Center in Utica, NY. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the State University of New York at Albany in Albany, NY, and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. He holds Physician Assistant Certification in Medicine and Surgery and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

 

Ms. Cornwell completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA, in 2005. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science at Penn State University. She is certified by the Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications.

 

Franklin County Heart Center, Chambersburg, PA, is a not-for-profit cardiology practice providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art, non-invasive, invasive, and interventional cardiovascular services and procedures.
