Stephen D. Henderson, M.D. (Chambersburg, PA) -- Keystone Health Center in Chambersburg, PA, announces the appointment of internal medicine physician, Stephen D. Henderson, MD, to the staff of Keystone Family Practice in Chambersburg.
Dr. Henderson is board certified in internal medicine and speaks Spanish. He completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital-NYU School of Medicine and served an internship at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell University Medical College. His residency and internship included work at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY and his Bachelor of Science degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY. Prior to joining Keystone, Dr. Henderson was employed as an attending physician at Metropolitan Hospital Center-New York Medical College in New York City, where he also held teaching and administrative positions.
Internal medicine doctors (also known as internists) are trained to treat adults. They diagnose and treat infections, cancer, and diseases affecting the heart, kidneys, joints, and the digestive, respiratory, and vascular systems. They also are trained in disease prevention, wellness, and substance abuse.
Dr. Henderson is accepting new patients age 17 and older.
Keystone Family Practice is located at 820 Fifth Avenue, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The practice’s professional team includes two internal medicine doctors, six family medicine doctors, two nurse practitioners, a registered dietician, two psychiatrists, and three psychotherapists.
