Joint Commission Accreditation |
| The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit national accrediting body for health care organizations.
To earn and maintain accreditation, an organization must undergo an unannounced on-site survey at least every three years. Keystone Health has been accredited since 2001. Joint Commission surveyors are physicians, nurses, and administrators who have at least five years experience as high-level leaders in their field and have been trained and tested by The Joint Commission before conducting surveys. Joint Commission accreditation, identified by its Gold Seal of Approval, is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality. Accreditation shows an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards and demonstrates its commitment to providing safe, high-quality care and to continuing to improve that care.
