Begin a Rewarding Career - Join Keystone Healthcare’s Team of Professionals

Keystone Health is a public, non-profit organization employing more than 300 caring and compassionate physicians, nurses and staff members who provide quality health care to individuals and families with and without health insurance.

Co-founded in 1986 by Joanne Cochran, president and CEO, Keystone Health Center operates as a network of six primary care sites - Keystone Family Medicine, Keystone Behavioral Health, Keystone Internal Medicine, Keystone Dental Care, Keystone Women's Care, and Franklin County Pediatrics - and one specialty practice, Franklin County Heart Center, in Chambersburg, PA. The Keystone Healthcare Network also includes a year-round migrant and seasonal farmworker site in Berks County and a seasonal farmworker site in Adams County.

Our Mission

At Keystone Health our mission is to eliminate barriers to health care by providing affordable, accessible and compassionate medical, dental and support services to men, women and children of all ages, races and economic backgrounds. As we continue to work toward increasing access to health care for the uninsured and underserved, we are also faced with understanding patient needs that go well beyond basic primary health care. Differing cultures, varied languages, and other barriers prevent many people from seeking medical care that could promote a healthier lifestyle and result in improved health status. By recognizing such needs, Keystone has made it a part of its mission to adapt and meet the requirements of special populations, offering a system of health care delivery that ensures primary health care for all, regardless of special circumstances.

Keystone is reaching out to immigrants, migrant farmworkers, homeless people, at-risk children, the frail elderly, residents of public housing, a broad range of racial, ethnic and language groups, and those at risk for HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and other chronic and catastrophic diseases.

Employee insurance coverage paid by Keystone Health may vary depending upon the position and employment status of the employee. Regular part-time employees working at least 25 or more hours per week are eligible to receive a portion of their medical and insurance coverage paid by Keystone Health. You can inquire about further details during the job interview.

1. MEDICAL INSURANCE. The Keystone Health flexible benefit program includes a choice of medical plans, each with different costs and levels of coverage (individual, two-party and family coverage). Employee coverage commences effective on the first day of the month following hire date, for full time or a part time status regularly working at least 25 hours per week.

Keystone Health's basic medical insurance plan is its Comprehensive Major Medical plan with a $750 deductible. Eligible employees, depending upon the available options from time to time, may be offered alternatives to the Comprehensive Major Medical plan that carry lower deductible, for example, either a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan or a Point of Service (POS) plan. Regular employees who select one of these plans pay additional premium costs through payroll deductions (i.e., the difference between the premium for the alternative plan and the amount that Keystone Health Center would pay for coverage under the Comprehensive Major Medical Plan).

2. DENTAL INSURANCE. Basic Dental coverage is available for individual, two-party and family coverage.

3. LIFE INSURANCE. Keystone Health provides regular full-time employees and regular part-time employees who work at least 25 hours per week with Group Term Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage as a part of its flexible benefit program. Employees may also purchase additional voluntary group life and dependent life coverage through payroll deductions.

4. OTHER INSURANCE. Short and long-term disability and vision coverage, payable through payroll deductions, is available at group rates for regular employees who work at least 25 hours per week.
