KEYSTONE FARMWORKER PROGRAMS

Keystone Health Center's history dates back to 1986 when the center was known as Keystone Migrant Health Center. Initially, Keystone was founded to provide health care to migrant and seasonal farm workers residing and working in Franklin County. mandumpingapples.jpg (10916 bytes)
Keystone is now the sole grantee in Pennsylvania to provide services to migrant farmworkers across the Commonwealth.

Keystone operates farmworker sites in Adams County and Berks County. Services are also provided through outreach workers and contracted providers across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In addition to service sites, health care workers go into the migrant camps to provide basic health care and assess the need for further treatment. When needed, vans bring migrants and their families to the service sites. nursetakingbpofmigrant.jpg (15048 bytes)
